Therapeutic Massage

Combining soft and deep tissue massage, this treatment helps to relax your whole body while at the same time working through some of the muscle issues or “tight spots” you may be experiencing. The best time for a therapeutic massage is when you feel yourself getting worked up, when you have some specific aches and pains that need to be addressed, or when you are just not feeling your best.

Almost all massage therapy induces a relaxation response, which lowers your heart rate, breathing rate, and blood pressure, while boosting your immune system, generally decreasing the physical effects of stress.

It is beneficial to have a regular therapeutic massage every 4 – 6 weeks. This is optimal for helping to keep muscles relaxed and as an effective prevention therapy. However, highly stressed out clients may require weekly massages at first, as the body gets used to becoming relaxed and remaining that way.
