I want to get to know you and understand your story, so that I can create a ceremony that reflects your personality. Planning your special day does not have to be overwhelming or stressful, so take a deep breath and lets get started!

Personal rituals, symbols of love and traditional customs add depth and beauty to any celebration or milestone. It helps engage people on another level and brings a spiritual aspect into the experience creating connection between people and families. However this is your day and whether you would prefer short and sweet, or epic and wild, I can create the perfect ceremony for you.

Elopement Ceremony

Want something short and sweet without losing the romance? Elopement ceremonies are the quick and simple way to marry your beloved without any fuss!

Sand Ceremony

The meaning is simple and beautiful: two becoming one. The bride and groom mix two different colours of sand into one container, symbolising their lives and hearts entwined.

Water Ceremony

Instead of coloured sand, some couples choose to substitute coloured water. You can customise your colours to symbolise something unique to your ceremony.

Stone Ceremony

This is a fantastic way to involve all of your guests within the ceremony. Each stone represents a special blessing or wish that the couple can reflect on as a life-long keepsake.

Whether you would like to include traditional rituals or cultural symbols, this is the perfect way to add depth and meaning to your ceremony. I am open to discussing all options!

Handfasting Ceremony

Handfasting (or tying the knot) is one of the oldest wedding traditions and is the symbolic act of a couple's hands being tied together with cords or ribbons, representing their union.

One of the biggest commitments that we can make in our lifetime is to legally marry our beloved. To publicly celebrate the love you have for one another not only strengthens the bond between you, it also creates lasting connections between family and friends as you establish a community of your very own.

I love the joy, intimacy and vulnerability that this special day can bring and I am committed to co-creating a Wedding Ceremony that you will cherish forever!  I provide heart felt and sacred ceremony to all loving couples and I invite you to contact me to discuss your needs and desires for your beautiful day.

There  is a perfect way for each of us to celebrate. Let’s co-create a ceremony that is perfect for you!

Vow Renewal Ceremonies are a beautiful way to recommit and reconnect to the love that you already have between you. I believe that ceremony and ritual help to deepen relationships and create lasting connections between friends and family.

Honouring your commitment to one another through a Vow Renewal is a beautiful way to celebrate your love.

Ceremonies come in so many flavours and there really is a perfect way for each of us to celebrate. Let’s co-create a ceremony that is perfect for you!

As you are already married there are no ‘legal’ components required, so this ceremony can be whatever you choose it to be!

I love ceremony and ritual and I believe that they help to deepen relationships and create lasting connections between friends and family. Honouring the devotion you have with one another through a Commitment Ceremony is a beautiful way to celebrate your love.

A Commitment Ceremony can be perfect for those of you who want to publicly acknowledge the special bond you have with your beloved but don’t necessarily need or want a legal ceremony. They are particularly popular with couples whose lifestyle choices don’t match the usual relationship structures, like polyamory or open relating.

Funeral and Memorial Celebrant
(including Miscarriage, Stillbirth and Babies)

I am passionate about supporting people throughout life’s milestones, from birth to death.

A funeral or memorial ceremony creates an opportunity to connect, honour and celebrate the deceased. Acknowledging the importance that they have had in the lives of friends, family and the wider community is an essential part in this celebration of life.

It is vital to be surrounded by those that honour the one that we have lost, so that we are supported in our time of grief and can be there for one another as we find closure throughout our grieving journey.

If you have lost a loved one and are looking for a compassionate and understanding celebrant to support you in creating the perfect remembrance ceremony, than please contact Shekinah Leigh.

Blessingway CeremonyA Blessingway is a sacred pre-birth ceremony that has traditionally been performed by Navajo people and celebrates a woman’s rite of passage into motherhood. During a Blessingway friends and family gather together to nurture the Mother-to-be, celebrating Motherhood as a transformational rite of passage from Maiden to Mother.

Your Blessingway can include all sorts of rituals that symbolise the bond between mother, child, family and community. Together we can co-create a ceremony that truly honours your personal birthing journey.

When a baby is born, so is a mother, one name that can describe this journey is Matrescence and it can take years to complete it!

The transition to motherhood is a journey from maiden to mother, it is a ‘rite of passage’ that is quite often overlooked and neglected as the transformational journey that it is. No woman is the same after she has birthed her baby, regardless of how that birth may have looked.

Celebrating this incredible milestone can be a profound way to acknowledge the changes that have occurred through pregnancy, birth and parenting, it can support you to come back to yourself; body, mind and spirit…

If you are ready to honour this ‘hero’s journey’ into motherhood than I encourage you to contact me for more information.

Baby NamingA Baby Naming is an opportunity to officially introduce your beautiful baby to friends and family and the wider community.

We all share in the joy of a new baby’s arrival – just as we all share the responsibility of shaping the child into a person. “It takes a village to raise a child” and the more loving connections that are created and supported from this very young and vulnerable age the more balanced and rich your child’s growth can be.

It is important to take this opportunity to gather as family, as community, to show our support and love for the parents and new child as they move forward into their new life together.

“It is time for us to come together and celebrate life, family and community with ritual and ceremony that brings us closer together”

Contact me if you are ready to create a celebration that is perfect for you and your child.
