Today I had lunch with one of those SOUL SISTERS that just speaks straight to my heart, who understands where I am coming from and who constantly opens the way for deeper INSIGHTS into myself and life. Today’s conversation went deeply into INTEGRITY, how we hold space in the work that we do, so that we create more healing instead of compounding trauma and old woundings with our clients. It has taken us both many years to fully comprehend the importance of body wisdom and knowledge and to understand how our own life experiences and personal evolution through the work we have done and now through the work that we offer, is grounded in many teachings, practices and a profound awareness of the important role that we can play in our clients lives.

We freely admitted that we both get triggered when we see people out there offering work in a way that is out of alignment and integrity, regardless of whether this is conscious or not. The fear that it brings up, is that of seeing those, who are at their most vulnerable, become even more wounded through ungrounded teachings or superficial approaches to transformative works and ideas.

So, I just want to take this opportunity to HONOUR those people out there, who are sharing their medicine, their heart gifts, their spiritual evolution, with integrity, awareness, consciousness, love, generosity and wisdom. It may not always look likes it’s paying off, you may not always get the big numbers that some other practitioners do but knowing that what you are bringing into the world, is creating more beauty, more pleasure and more awakening in a healthy & supportive way, is the greatest gift that any of us can give to this world. Knowing that what you offer comes from the HEART and that you are a part of the SOLUTION instead of being a part of the problem, is worthy of acknowledgement – THANK YOU for staying true, for being committed to your own spiritual growth and for being humble as you share your medicine with us. Thank you for realizing that you do not HEAL anyone, what you do is create safe space with your knowledge & wisdom, what you do is bring awareness to what needs to be seen & acknowledged, so that your clients can heal themselves. Thank you for not taking the POWER away from those that come to you for help & support, I honour that you can TEACH in a way that allows people to become even more SELF-EMPOWERED when they walk away from you, your courses or your workshops! Thank you for not selling out, for not taking the easy road, for not being in it just to make money, or to jump on the latest bandwagon, or to become famous, or to have a radical ego trip. Thank you for honouring & respecting me as another human being, who is also a teacher, as well as a student. Thank you, for allowing me to see you, in your vulnerability, your power, your joy and your sorrow….

Each of us has a gift to share with this world, none of us are perfect in our execution or understanding in every moment, or in every way, that is just part of being human. When you teach though, do you teach your truth? Do you walk your talk? Do you embody your words? If so, I thank you for being an authentic, imperfect and beautiful human-BEING!
